(Colorado, Denver), C Johns, $5 cardboard punch card, no date (probably 1890s), payable in "Fresh Vegetables", although no location is printed on the card, this item came out of an old scrap book along with three early Colorado scrip notes, "Charles W Johns" appears in the 1892 Denver city directory as owning a "meat market" and also in the 1913 Denver directory as a "Grocer", minor edge chipping and slight mounting damage on back, very fine.   $195   photo
